Effective immediately, a partnership of the Environmental Education Fund, the North Carolina Association of Environmental Education Centers (NCAEEC) and the Office of Environmental Education will provide grants up to $10,000 each to Environmental Education Centers to develop educational programs and/or exhibits to promote prevention of polluted runoff.
Guidelines and the Grant application are available on this site for those centers that have been designated as an environmental education center by the DENR Office of Education. To determine your center's status, visit the DENR Office of Environmental Education web site to be sure your center is listed in the "Guide to North Carolina's Environmental Education Centers," or contact Marty Wiggins to see if your facility qualifies as an environmental education center.
