Lynne Tesh Gronback is a science teacher at McDouble Middle School in Chapel Hill. Additionally, she is a 2004 Kenan Fellow and is working on a collaborative project entitled "The North Carolina Power Shift Initiative." She is excited to be working with a diverse group of people including her science mentor, Dr. William Schlesinger, Dean of the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. She anticipates the next 2 years to be filled with incredible learning and sharing experiences.
Lynne grew up in Concord, NC and graduated from Meredith College with a degree in English Literature and biology. She completed her masters at NCSU in 2000. Lynne has ben and continues to e actiely involved in the development and implementationof the NC;'s Earth and Environmental Science curriculum.
Lynne lives in Hillsborough, NC, with two of her three sons, 2 dogs and a cat. She enjoys reading, hiking, rock and mineral collecting, and gardening. She loves spending time with her family at their lake house in Norwood, NC on the banks of Lake Tillery. |
